I recommend: Witness for Prosecution

The recipe of this movie is simple: take an interesting and intelligent plot from Agatha Cristie, add some good-taste humor, pick good actors, make an unbelievable ending and voila! Even if the movie is from 1957 it is still enjoyable even today.

This is the first post of a new category on my blog, aimed to provide recommendations for some really good movies to watch. I had the idea in the back of my mind for a long time, but only today I have been able to actually do it.

So here we go with the first movie I recommend.

Film Name: Stay
Cast: Ewan McGregor, Naomi Watts, Ryan Gosling

Storyline: A thought-provoking and haunting exploration of how reality and dream-states may combine to form complex interactions in the mind of an accident victim. The line between the imagination and reality blurs when an accomplished Psychiatrist takes on a patient that appears to be suicidal.
